What can I expect from Stranger Things: The Official Store?
Stranger Things: The Official Store is an immersive retail store based on the Netflix series. Step into iconic locations from the Stranger Things universe and enjoy a unique shopping experience packed with exclusive merchandise and interactive photo moments!
Where are the stores located?
There are two open stores at the moment:
- New York: 200 W 42nd St New York, NY 10036 (NW corner of 42nd St. & 7th Ave). Get directions.
- Los Angeles: The Americana at Brand, 889 Americana Way, Glendale, CA 91210. Get directions.
How long does the visit last?
Your journey through the store should last approximately 30 minutes.
What products will be available for purchase?
You will be able to purchase a wide variety of exclusive Stranger Things merchandise, only available at the store as well as tons of 80s memorabilia. You can also personalize your own creations at the customizable apparel stations.
Can I shop online?
Most of the products in the store are exclusive and can only be bought on site. But you can buy a selected range of products from the The Official Netflix Merch Shop here
Will there be strobe lights?
The store contains sequences of flashing lights, which may affect customers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy or other photo sensitivities.
Do I need to have watched all episodes of Stranger Things?
No, it's not essential—but it will enhance your visit if you do. There aren’t any spoilers though, so no need to worry about that!
Will Stranger Things: The Official Store be coming to other cities?
Right now the store will open in New York and Los Angeles, but other cities may follow soon. Check potential locations here.

How can I access the store?
In order to avoid crowding inside and in front of the store, capacity will be limited and controlled in real time. There are two ways to access the store:
- Reservations (pre-booking): you can make your reservation for the date and time you prefer via this website, which will grant you priority access (free of charge) with skip-the-line entry to the store. We strongly recommend that you make a reservation so that your admission is guaranteed.
- Virtual queue: for walk-ins there will be a virtual queue accessible via QR code at the store, even if pre-booking sessions are sold out. This virtual queue will be available only if the reservations queue is not full for the day.
Is it free to visit the store?
Yes, both reservations (pre-booking) and virtual queue are free of charge.
Is there a limit on people per transaction?
Yes, both reservations (pre-booking) and the virtual queue are limited to 6 people per transaction. If you want to attend with a larger group, you will need to make two or more reservations.
What’s the benefit of making a reservation?
The reservation will grant you priority access with skip-the-line entry to the store for the date and time you choose. Otherwise, you will have to access the store through the virtual queue, which we can’t guarantee will be available on your preferred date and time.
Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?
Yes, please arrive 10 minutes before the time stated on your reservation so we can make sure you can enter the store at the right time.
Can I transfer my reservation to someone else?
Yes, you can transfer your reservation to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket on the Fever App. Please contact us
for additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
What happens if I want to reschedule my visit or if I can no longer make it?
In either case, please contact us
so we can cancel your reservation and free the space for other guests. If you want to reschedule, please book again your new preferred date and time.
I can't find my reservation. What should I do?
You can find your reservation with the QR code in the confirmation email or in the Fever app, within the Tickets section. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when reserving your spot. If you still cannot find your reservation, please contact us
Do I need to print my ticket?
No. Ticket validation will be through contactless QR codes, which you can find in your booking confirmation email or in the Fever App.
How can I join the virtual queue?
In order to join the virtual queue, you will need to scan the QR code at the store with your smartphone and select the number of people attending (max. 6 per group). You will be sent a notification when it’s your turn. You do not need to wait at the store.
Where can I find the QR code to scan?
The QR code will be available to scan outside the store. When our virtual queue is full, we will close the queue and turn off the QR code.
How can I access the store when it’s my time?
When it’s your time to enter the store, you will be sent a notification. Once you’re back at the store, line up at the virtual queue line with your ticket ready.
When will the store open?
Stranger Things: The Official Store will open in New York and Los Angeles on November 6th, 2021. The Rift is highly unstable though, so the store will only be around for a limited time!
What are the opening hours?
- Mondays-Sundays: 10am-10pm
- Mondays-Thursdays: 10am-9pm
- Fridays-Saturdays: 10am-10pm
- Sundays: 11am-9pm
Is this a kid-friendly environment?
The store features elements of the show, which is recommended for ages 13+. Younger children are welcome at their parents' discretion.
Is the store ADA compliant?

What is the dress code?
Dressing for the occasion is not mandatory but highly encouraged. Show off your best 80s outfits!
Can I bring my pet?
Sorry, no pets are allowed at the store. The only exceptions are service animals.
Can I smoke or vape?
Smoking is not permitted. We ask that you are also respectful of other guests.
Is the store Covid-19 safe?
To mitigate the risks associated with Covid-19, the Store reserves the right to implement health restrictions in line with Government Guidelines, warnings or guidance at any time and communicate these to visitors on the Store website and in person at the Store location. Visitors experiencing symptoms associated with Covid-19, or who have recently been in contact with a person experiencing symptoms, are asked not to enter the Store.
Do you require masks?
Yes, wearing a mask is required when inside the store.
Do I need to show proof of vaccination?
Proof of vaccination is not required to enter the store.

Yes, and there will be several photo opportunities throughout the store. We encourage guests to take pictures and share them on social media with #strangerthingsstore and tagging @stranger.things.store
